Can I bring my dog with me?

Pets are not allowed inside The Depot’s distillery space due to safety concerns for all visitors including those who have allergies. However, we do allow them outside on the patio so they can relax until you visit the museum.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty! We also highly suggest closed toe shoes for safety reasons (remaining on the dirt paths). Additionally, it will get chilly outside so dress accordingly! In summer months we recommend sunscreen and sunglasses as well because our grounds are quite exposed to the sun. You may want to bring water with you too in case of any thirst or bring your own snacks as well.

The tour is a self-guided experience where we recommend you take your time to enjoy The Depot’s grounds and explore the distillery. The average visit lasts about an hour, but that can vary depending on what pace you want to go at!

You can purchase beverages (either beer or spirits) if desired as well as other souvenirs like t-shirts, hats, glassware and more in The Depot Craft Brewery if you want to have some tangible memories of your visit. The depot is located at 325 E 4th St, Reno, NV 89512 in the heart of downtown Reno near Sundance Square. There’s plenty of parking available nearby too for free on Sundays (alternatively there are some public lots with limited spaces that charge $0.50 per hour). The entrance to The Depot Craft Brewery is found just south of its sister business The Old Washoe Club as well so be sure to check out both if you’re able to schedule time in our area!
